Guyana will be represented by Ravens and Eagles Basketball Clubs at the 2025 Kreyol Basketball Championship in Dominica, taking place from June 6 – 10 .
The tournament will be held at the Massacre Indoor Sports Complex in St Paul’s, and is set to feature top clubs from Guyana, Dominica, and Guadeloupe in a series of high-stakes group-stage fixtures.
Ravens, the reigning One Guyana Basketball League champions, and Eagles, the league runners-up, have earned their place at the championship as the country’s top-performing clubs, and will be looking to carry their domestic form onto the regional stage.

Among the confirmed participants are Dominica’s D-Treads Blazers and 767-SC Dominators, alongside Guadeloupe’s USR Basket and GCB.
The action gets under way on Friday evening, with Eagles facing the 767-SC Dominators, followed by Ravens in a prime-time encounter against the D-Treads Blazers.
On Saturday, Eagles take on Guadeloupe’s GCB in a key fixture, while Ravens return to the court on Sunday to face USR Basket.

Guyana’s representatives will be aiming to top the group stages, as only unbeaten teams will progress to the championship final, scheduled for Sunday evening.
The Kreyol Basketball Championship is organised by Caribbean Sports and Sustainable Development, in partnership with In Nature Tours. The tournament aims to bring together the best basketball clubs in the region to determine the “Kings of the Caribbean.”
It is structured across three regional conferences, with the winner of each conference earning a place in the “Champs of the Champs” tournament, set to be held in Guadeloupe this August.
