The ‘June Madness’ National Futsal Championship begins tonight, with 48 of Guyana’s top futsal teams set to battle it out for more than five million dollars in cash and prizes.
Tonight’s opening fixture sees Broad Street take on Young Stars, followed by Buxton versus Alexander Village, and Foot Steppers against Tiger Bay. The evening’s penultimate match pits Corinthians against Paradise Invaders, before Albouystown A face Campbellville in the headline clash.
Organised by the Kashif and Sanghai Organisation, the tournament will follow a knockout format, with matches scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall in Georgetown.

The top 16 teams from the December 2024 Championship have earned byes to the Round of 32. Among them are Sparta Boss, Back Circle A and B, Road Warriors, North East, Z Tekk, Ballers United, Festival City, Gold Is Money, Bent Street A and B, Timehri Warriors, Stabroek Warriors A and B, Albouystown Ballers, and Espyanol.
Thursday will see five more fixtures. Make It Happen open the night against Street Vybz, followed by Kingston versus Finishers, YMCA against Agricola Ballers, Unity Ballers meeting Spaniards, and the final match featuring Laing Avenue against Sophia Ballers.
With fierce competition and high stakes, organisers said the fans will see top-tier futsal action from the best teams in Guyana.
