The Blue Waters Under-15 Girls’ Football Championship rolled into Georgetown and Linden over the weekend, with Marian Academy and Linden Foundation emerging as the standout sides in a thrilling round of fixtures. Marian Academy unbeaten in Georgetown
In the Georgetown zone, Marian Academy stole the spotlight on May 17, finishing top of the group with a perfect three wins from three. Last year’s runners-up, New Campbellville Secondary, secured two wins but fell to tournament newcomers Christ Church Secondary, who also impressed with two victories from their three matches.

Skylar DeNobrega led the scoring for Marian Academy with four goals, underlining her attacking prowess. Serina Cox of New Campbellville added three goals to her tally, while Kayla Jack scored both goals for Christ Church, emerging as a key figure in their debut campaign.

Over in Region 10, Linden Foundation Secondary stood out with a commanding 7–0 win over Wisburg Secondary, the most decisive result of the weekend. They, along with Mackenzie High, registered two wins apiece at the Wisburg ground.
The inaugural tournament was won by St Ignatius Secondary in 2024.
