Former West Indies cricketer Ramnaresh Sarwan participated in the Cricket West Indies (CWI) talent identifiers session which was held in Trinidad and Tobago.
Sarwan was joined by Henderson Broomes (Barbados), Delroy Morgan (Jamaica), Samuel Spencer (Leeward Islands), Gibran Mohammed (Trinidad & Tobago), and Craig Emmanuel (Windward Islands).

The sessions, held from May 8-10, were led by Senior Men’s Team head coach Daren Sammy, along with high-performance manager Dwain Gill, senior talent manager Jamal Smith, and CWI Performance Analyst Avenesh Seetaram.
CWI Director of Cricket, Miles Bascombe, also met with territorial talent identifiers during the recent West Indies Breakout League in Trinidad.
Reflecting on the workshop, Sammy said: “The processes we go through, the data that is collected, and how those translate to filling the respective personnel roles in the various teams. The workshop gave us the opportunity to show our Talent IDs a template that they could mirror in their home territories, regarding planning and tactical aspects at the international level.”
Sarwan, who represented the West Indies in 87 Tests and 181 ODIs, is now contributing to the development of future cricketing talent across the region.
