Timehri United Crowned U-14 Champions in Thrilling EBFA Finale

Timehri United have been crowned champions of the East Bank Football Association (EBFA) Under-14 League, edging out Herstelling Raiders on goal difference after both sides finished level on 15 points. Police Youth Club secured third place with 12 points and 12 goals.

The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) confirmed that more than 100 young players took part in the seven-team competition, which ran from March 29 to May 26 at the National Technical Centre (NTC) in Providence, East Bank Demerara.

Timehri United are the champions of the EBFA Under-14 League

The final standings saw Swan FC finish fourth with 12 points and 10 goals, followed by Agricola Red Triangle in fifth on six points. Friendship All Stars took sixth place with three points, while Kuru Kuru finished bottom without a win.

A total of 102 goals were scored, highlighting the attacking ambition and energy of the young footballers. Wayshawn Forde claimed the Golden Boot with 11 goals. Nyron Barrow, who netted nine times, was named Most Valuable Player.

Additionally, Gregory Ramascindo (8), Samuel Gaspar (5), Kerwin Chance (4), and Brandon Bruce (4) also stood out with impressive performances.

Samuel Braithwaite of Herstelling Raiders was named Best Goalkeeper for his consistent displays and leadership at the back.
