Top young track stars will go head-to-head this month at the Athletics Association of Guyana’s National Youth and Juniors Championship, taking place from July 18–20 at the National Track and Field Centre in Leonora, West Coast Demerara.
The three-day meet promises fierce competition as some of the country’s most promising under-20 and under-18 athletes battle for national honours, club pride, and the chance to impress national selectors.
Spectators can expect action across a full range of events — from sprints and distance races to field events. With strong representation from leading clubs across the country, the Championship is expected to highlight the depth of talent in Guyanese athletics.
